WELCOME TO YOGA SHALA

At Ashtanga Yoga Shala, we offer Traditional Ashtanga Yoga taught primarily in the Mysore style, where each student practices at their own pace with individual guidance from the teacher. This method allows a personal, steady, and disciplined practice to develop over time.

 

Alongside Mysore practice, we offer Led Classes, which help students deepen their understanding of the sequence, rhythm, breath, and vinyasa flow.

 

As an Authorized Ashtanga Yoga Center, we teach both the Primary Series (Yoga Chikitsa) and the Intermediate Series (Nadi Shodhana). Our teaching is firmly rooted in the lineage of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Jois, and the Shala provides a focused, supportive, and respectful space for sincere practice.Title

Types of Classes

Mysore Style

A self-practice class with personal guidance. Students learn and progress step by step according to their ability, breath, and consistency.

 

Led Class

A teacher-led class where the sequence is guided vocally. This class supports memorization, rhythm, alignment, and collective energy.

  • Regular practitioners seeking a structured, traditional Ashtanga practice

  • Adults of all age groups with a willingness to learn and practice consistently

  • Students looking for authentic Ashtanga Yoga in the Mysore and Led class format

  • Those seeking discipline, strength, flexibility, focus, and mental clarity through steady practice

New Student Policy

  • Trial classes are offered strictly by appointment

  • Beginners start with 40–75 minutes of practice, gradually increasing duration as strength and understanding develop

  • For group classes, a minimum three-month registration is mandatory (Monthly registrations are available after completion)

  • All registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled once confirmed

  • Students must inform the teacher in advance in case of absence

  • Scholarships are also available at our Shala. Selected students are invited to join the first batch in the early morning, supporting sincere practitioners who are committed to regular practice.

Visiting Students & Special Access 

  • Drop-in classes are free for visitors staying in Hyderabad for a short duration

  • Practice space is free for Guruji’s students, authorized teachers’ students, and students recommended by our practitioners

Shala Classes

Mysore and Led classes in Primary and Intermediate Series. Beginners and experienced students are welcome in our supportive Shala.  what matters most is a genuine willingness to learn, show up regularly, and grow through steady practice.

The monthly fee is ₹6,000, with flexible practice timings within the scheduled class hours.
